Just let him come if he wants to fight because this is boxing not a marathon. If he refuses then let the ref do his job and disqualify him. ****ing simple, boxing is not a science mi friend. nitramzaid@hotmail.com
although i love a great fight i would love to see shane win the first minute of each round with high activity, then for the last 2 minutes of each round stand in the middle and not even engage...then when floyd comes forward jab and back peddle to a ****ing victory..

    how funny would that be.

its no secret that a jab disrupts mosley's rhythym, but floyd might be able to win without one.

I doubt floyd has an easy night with mosley. mosley will always be a big threat to floyd. even roger is saying it will be a tough fight.

Roger is a boxing historian I'm sure he watches tape and if he doesn't somebody in that camp does. Your right, the jab will disrupt Shane's rhythm and Floyd has a very good jab. Shane will always bring it I just think that Floyd is viewing this as a career definer and will be on his A game for this one. Not only will you see Shane on another level but Floyd as well.

Mayweather's power is underrated. Power can be neutralized but speed, timing and accuracy is a even more dangerous weapon. Cotto may be a bigger puncher than Floyd but not nearly as quick, accurate or smart which makes Floyd a much more dangerous fighter. Tap, tap, tap then out of no where you get hit with a punch you thought wasn't gonna have any power and you fine yourself in a very ****ed up situation.

Shane would have to change who he is to be a real threat to PBF and all Floyd has to do is make him convert back to his natural fighting style and it will be a relatively easy night. Shane will try to stick to his game plan all Floyd has to do is be a little aggressive and Shane will bite.
Wait May an his team said they don't watch tape?mmm. Are you saying they lying?

floyd didnt' take hatton's pressure away. floyd just turned out to be a better infighter than hatton reckoned.

floyd didn't take away judah's speed. floyd knew that judah was a front runner.

floyd didn't take about baldomir's power. baldomir has no power. he just has an adamantium chin.

floyd didn't take away jmm's counterpunches with his jab, jmm just had no business at 147 lbs.

            oscar was always a gasser.

that said, floyd already knows that mosley can be beaten with a good jab. floyd even said that sometimes mosley gets tired. look for floyd to jab a lot and also look for when mosley tries to clinch... I suspect that's when floyd will do some work.

roger is a trainer not a historian.

roger admitted that he doesn't watch tape. if anyone in team mayweather does watch tape, the mayweathers don't give a **** because nobody on the mayweather team knows boxing more than the mayweather's themselves.

I'm hoping, like you, that both put on spectacular performances. both guys look like they are coming to win

floyd's power at WW is average.

with cotto, you have to worry about getting KOed. if floyd all you have to worry about is getting embarassed.

actually its more like : backpedal, backpedal, backpedal, lead right-hand. floyd was surprized that jmm took his best shots and jmm is a blown up lightweight.

maybe if floyd put more combinations together he might've stopped jmm, but no one knows for sure.

                  • Shane Mosley knows what he's doing, I don't see him swimming without getting wet against Mayweather tho. He will fight smart but come on the short side of the decision. I hope we get a good fight and I hope Mosley makes Mayweather really fight instead of pot-shotting his way to a UD.

Everyone likes to claim they don't watch tape but that's a lie. Even if they didn't, I'm pretty sure they've seen enough Mosley fights to know what he's about. And I'm sure Roger knows the serious task he has in front of him. He's always claimed Shane would be Floyd's toughest challenge and now they've got it.
