I might think that Floyd fighting at WW would be a problem against Mosley if it was his second or third fight. Floyd's body has matured into a true WW body so the power every body keeps talking about won't be as much of a factor. This fight will come down to skill and who executes the better strategy. To say that Mosley is going to knock Mayweather out or Mayweather is going to outbox Mosley is pure speculation.

The highlights are all nice and fun to watch but they were not fighting each other. Neither fighter has faced another fighter with the skill and style that they will encounter come May 1. Also take into consideration that the highlights are when these 2 were younger. Age does play a factor in how they will fight. No boxer fights the same as time wears on. All great boxers adjust as they age especially elite ones. Hopkins, Toney, etc all used their boxing acumen more as they got older more than relying on their speed and power. This should be a good fight.

How can Shane have an edge? Until they face one another, there is no edge. Both have won the vast majorities of their fights based on styles that work for them. To look back and say who they faced in the past is irrelevent. Forrest beat Mosley 2x but yet he turned around and got beat by Mayorga 2x. Shane came along and knocked Mayorga out. What does that mean, nothing!

Fighters make fights just as much as styles make fights. You keep overlooking the age factor. What Mayweather could do in 2004 ain't the same Mayweather that will step into the ring come May 1 and the same holds true for Mosley. Past opponents are not a good gauge on how one will perform on fight night. The only thing that can be safely stated is that both of these guys always show up on fight night in top shape. There is no edge, it will be all about the execution of strategy.
