Former two division champion Miguel Cotto is making the training rounds in Florida. We recently reported that Cotto's team contacted Orlando Cuellar to ask if he would be interested in training the Puerto Rican star for his June 5 challenge of WBA junior middleweight champion Yuri Foreman at Yankee Stadium in New York.

imho this is the smartest move by cotto. mcgirt is a good defensive trainer and that's what cotto needs. mcgirt's strategy is always to box. that's good, and cotto can pull the brawling out of his tool box if he needs it.

cotto relied on his power too much when he couldnt faze margarito he gave in , i never thought cotto was that good until he outboxed mosley but even then he was running for his life towards the end of the fight even at his strongest point he showed weaknesses.too flawed and too beat up .

Ran 4 his life?? You should watch that fight again. Cotto won all but round 3 & maybe even round 2 up until the 10th round. He didn't need 2 **** with Shane down the stretch cuz that would only benefit Mosley. He was behind, desperate could have caught him with 1 of those big right hands & changed the whole fight. Cotto didn't get on his bicycle & do a De La Hoya. & don't talk about Margarito please, I have my doubts about how legit that beating he gave Cotto was.
