Nevada has the strongest and most highly regarded boxing commmision in the country and perhaps the entire world. I don't know how many states actually ban the product, but if Nevada chooses to allow fighters to use xzylocane, that should tell you there is something wrong with the other states that have banned it, not Nevada.

      • Many of the people on this board need to get the stick out of their ass. Everytime Floyd Mayweather says "hello" there are 100 posts on how he is wrong for saying it. The man is trying to sell/promote a fight and he is doing a damn good job of it. He is doing the same thing (talking trash) that Muhammad Ali did during his fighting days and it is no coincidence that Ali is the most recognizable name in the history of boxing (sorry to burst your bubble, Pac worshippers).

In any case, Mayweather also walked away from the fight when he refused to accept the 24 day cut-off. At that time, Floyd had no idea that he'd be able to get a fight with Mosley, and he was talking about fighting Matthew Hatton, FFS. And even Mosley is a much smaller payday for Floyd than Pac would have been. So it works both ways.

As I pointed out in my previous post, which you haven't responded to, Pac has always been motivated by more than just money - he was willing to walk away from the De La Hoya and Hatton and Cotto fights on matters of principle, when he didn't like the contracts. So if he's shady now, he was equally shady then. But as I said in my previous post, the idea that anyone who is motivated by more than just money is somehow shady, is just pathetic.
dave, i hear what your saying but i just disagree with the logic. you say pac has always been motivated by more than just money, where is your proof of that? if that were the case pac, out of greed signed with two promoters at the same time. and accepted a suitcase filled with 250,000 dollars, refused to give it back, had to be forced by a court of law to return the money. and as a result of his greed has to pay two promoters for every fight he has. if he was so honorable he would have never signed with two people( dishonest) nor would he have tried to keep the money. so for each fight he has to pay two promoters and his trainer and roid oops i mean strenth coach. thus reducing by a large amt his take home pay. so much for fighting for more than just money.

          • floyd mayweather best boxer in the business .
pac man and needles come on... let me tell you about needles everyday hundreds of thousands if not millions of people have blood drawn example red cross donation, hospitals, these people are just simple common folk old ladies do it, old men do it, young girls do it, young boys do it, hell even an alcoholic or crackhead will sell their blood for 20 dollars, and pac man wouldnt do it for millions of dollars... flags are raised except it everyone in this forum would do it even those that hate mayweather. you may not like his style but he hits you more than you hit him and that is one way to win a fight except it

Sounds like a smart business decision to me. Mayweather is making sure he will get his.

At least he is not trying to impose weight restriction in order to have an advantage on fight night.

                • Floyd, stfu.

Whether you think Shane knew what he was taking or not, it was for the second Delahoya fight, a fight in which he neither knocked Oscar out NOR even looked good in.

                  Enough.

                  • Proof of cherry picking!!!

If Floyd really believes SHANE is good because of PEDS, then why fight him without PEDS? Floyd have just proved that he only fights opponent that is not good (WITHOUT PEDS). in other words this proves that he is cherry picking no good fighters (without PEDS). and who else out their that is good that he thinks without PEDS? I think nobody… so there is no other opponent that is worthy to fight floyd because there are no other good fighters out there that are not on PEDS… END OF BOXING and end of FLOYD’s career…
