Lewis might not have epic wins over fighters like Larry Donald and Corrie Sanders, but no one would be ignorant enough to doubt him being an all time great fighter.

I don't deny that Lewis got skills, but a legend? No way! Before he retired and was undisputed champ the conventional wisdom among most boxing publications was: so what? Lewis ruling the division among the weakest selection of contenders seen in 30 years! How convenient he packs up his bags and leaves town just when Vitali gave him his hardest fight and just entering his prime? Now we will never know if Lewis was truly a great among greats or just a great among bums...because he ducked his biggest challenge to settle what was widely seen as a controversial stoppage!

Before the fight, Jones v Johnson meant the most to me. During and after I was heartbroken. To see my favorite fighter of all time being beat up like that. It meant a lot to me because I really wanted to see Jones come in and tear up Johnson. I had actually predicted a KO before 6, then Jones came out in the first, and nothing happened.

Also, I'd like to point out to people, Jones was hit in the temple by a big left against Johnson, not in the jaw. Also, he had taken over 200 shots before he finally fell in the 9th, after putting up NO fight at all.

Other fights up there are Jones v Ruiz, and Toney v Ruiz. I wanted to see Jones prove people wrong, saying he couldn't do what he did at HW that he did at lower weights. And in Toney v Ruiz, I wanted that holding mother****er to go down.
