Which fight over the years has mean't the most to you?

Which fight over the years has mean't the most to you? Not particularly the BEST fight you've seen!

    Example:

For me it has to be Lennox Lewis vs Hasim Rahman II, because I've always been a huge Lennox Lewis fan, and I felt like Rahman stolen those belts off Lewis in South Africa.

The re-match couldn't have gone better, not only did Lewis prove his point - (That HE was the BEST heavyweight in the World), he did it in devistating fashion.

    How about you lot?

Lewis-Rahman 1, because I always thought Lewis a jabbing whore with a glass chin and the only reason he was champ was because the hw div didn't have any decent contenders. Rahman proved Lewis nothing special in an era of mediocrity when he KTFO Lewis with that one punch.

          Martin...

Is "mean't" an English spelling of the word? In the US, it's used without the ' because it isn't a literal contraction.

By the way, I'm just curious, not being a smartass or trying to correct your English.

                  hmm

For me it was Jones-Tarver I. I felt nervous about the fight as it started. Jones didn't look so hot at the weigh-in and seemed really pensive. It was important to me because he showed a lot of grit and heart to pull out the win. Merk asked for the championship rounds "big" and that's what he got.

I remember Lampley saying, "That's big."

Barrera-Morales 1 and 2 meant the most to me, during fight #1 i had a huge party at the frat house, and everyone got to see how competitive the lighter-weight fights can actually be (before that night, all of the "know-it-all's" said that featherweight fights are always boring becuase they're never violent)....the rematch meant even more, because me and 3 of my bro's took a road trip to Vegas to see the fight, and even though it wasn't nearly as thrilling as #1, it was an awesome atmosphere in the MGM and my buddies became fight fans (& Barrera fans) 4 life....

Lewis-Tyson comes in 2nd, simply because I made mucho dinero for betting on Lennox with all of my buddies who were Tyson fanatics
