Ruiz has been a heavyweight champ and has fought many top guys and as such has as much right to talk as Davey Haye does. If Haye doesn't like it, let him do something about it in the ring.

9 times out of 10, Ruiz would beat Tua. He just got caught cold. He's shown since then that he's an extremely durable fighter, and he's beaten a better standard of opposition than Tua has.

This will be Haye's toughest fight to date, there's no doubt about it.

Why wouldn't Haye like it? Trash talking sells fights. Haye appreciates trash talkers.

The only thing Haye didn't like was that Ruiz didn't bother to turn up for their press conference to promote the fight.

And Haye knows that he'll have to fight Ruiz very differently from the way he fought Valuev, so Ruiz isn't saying anything that Haye wouldn't acknowledge to be true (except possibly for the bit about the judges being swayed by the fans). But then again, Haye had never fought anyone before using the style he used against Valuev - that was strictly a one-off. He saw the tactics Holyfield had been successful with (or would have been if he hadn't been robbed), and basically imitated them. It's obvious that he'll have a completely different game plan against Ruiz.

Ruiz didn't last 1 round with David Tua, he lasted 19 seconds including the count. You may not ever have seen a Tua fight from start to finish. but as soon as the bell rings, Tua rushes across the ring like a tiger and throws a barrage of punches.

What actually happened in the Ruiz fight was that Tua did just that, and Ruiz was so overwhelmed that he didn't even have time to properly put his hands up, let alone fight back.

He was caught by surprise and it had never happened before. This was 14 years ago and it has certainly never happened since.

Ruiz is one of the most durable of fighters, and Champions.

The main question about this fight is ......how much does Ruiz have left. He hasn't fought in a long time, and is 37 years old, so..............................

We must wait and see how it turns out.

he didnt break his hand. only news on that is haye "claimed to have broke it" and even if he did break it he still wasnt throwing any punches before it was supposedly broken
