Good job floyd. All that "work" and u still couldn't get FOTD. Pac did more in 5 years than floyd did in 12 years lol.
Mayweather has been a Top 10 p4p Since 1998.

Technically speaking, MAB did more than Salvador Sanchez (for obvious reasons of course), but you can't ignore what MAB did at that weight and how long he fought at that weight. His body of work speaks for itself...especially the brilliant performance against Naz.
Best FW of all time? Probably not, but he's without question an ATG in the division. Whether he's on someone's all time top 5 is up to that person.Comment

he is better than sanchez as a fw. Not to crap on him but it was always about what could have been, when talking about salvador sanchez. He died young and could have done great things...but guess what...he didn't. So we have to go by what did happen and Barrera has better wins at FW than Sanchez. Saddler, while he beat pep a few times...lost to some guys he had no business losing to. Also I feel Barrera had better wins there so in no way can I see Saddler being ranked higher at FW than barrera.Comment

Im sorry but we dont need two Horus'.Pac didn't crack the list until 2003 and he was under Floyd, His whole stay on the list until Floyd retired.
1998- #8
1999- #2
2000- #7
2001- #5
2002- #8
2003- #5.......Pac was Number 6.
2004- #2.......Pac was Number 5.
2005- #1.......Pac was Number 5.
2006- #1.......Pac was Number 2.
2007- #1.......Pac was Number 2.
2008- Floyd RETIRED.....Pac was # 1.
2009- #2...................Pac was Number 1.
Floyd has been one of the Ten Best fighters in the world for 11 years. He was on the list 5 times in a row before Pac was even close.
Also when Pac moved up 2 weight classes.
The two Number 1 guys at Bantam and Jr. Bantam were Tim Austin and Mark Johnson two of the slickest boxers around at that time.
Interesting.........
Do us a favor and leave the manny - floyd thing alone for the time being. The subject has been so drawn out that people avoid coming into NSBComment

I mean I get that the dude passed away but Sanchez was a freak man. I think with him we look at what couldve been or what shouldve been which is maybe fair or not fair but he is one the most skilled and talented fighters I have ever seen.Technically speaking, MAB did more than Salvador Sanchez (for obvious reasons of course), but you can't ignore what MAB did at that weight and how long he fought at that weight. His body of work speaks for itself...especially the brilliant performance against Naz.

I'll give you that he is a Great FW but I dont have him Top 5 though. I cant let the old guys like Driscoll and Saddler be left out the Top 5 to put MAB in though.Comment

If you actually paid attention and read the thread first. We are talking about ATG Featherweights a subject thats NOT talked about on here.Comment

exactly. I don't have MAB as the greatest FW of All time.....but he is up there for the simple fact that he was in the golden era of the division. In no other time period had the division had as many future HOF and stars, yet Barrera was walking through this division until he got stopped by Manny. Again during the greatest era of the division....Barrera was walking right through it...I repeat....walking right through it.Technically speaking, MAB did more than Salvador Sanchez (for obvious reasons of course), but you can't ignore what MAB did at that weight and how long he fought at that weight. His body of work speaks for itself...especially the brilliant performance against Naz.

I agree on this. You will most likely see 50-50 having it between them two for Number 1.Comment
