You can't just dismiss those wins because they were before he retired, although I understand where you are comin from. I didn't count JMM, but if I had that means after "retiring" he beat the #2 and #3 p4p fightera at the 147 limit. He still has done more at the weight than pac so he should be #1 ww.

PBF has been at WW for longer than Pac, so you could say he has more body of work at that weight. But Cotto and Clottey have also campaigned at WW for longer than Pac and have more body of work.
But they are not as good as Pac. You see what im getting at. SO does it seem to you that PBF is no1 WW on the basis of beating SSM? Cotto since his loss to Margarito had done pretty well and had got himself back. Cotto was always considered the best WW and he had a bad performance against Margarito. But it could be said he was the no1 WW.

Cotto was knocked out by Margarito.

        Then Mosley knocked out Margarito.

        Then Mayweather ****d Mosley.

Thats how Floyd is the Number 1 WW. Cotto lost his case when he was KO'd by Margarito.

Triangle theories dont work. But Pac beat the man who beat SSM and that is Cotto.
So to me it would be fair for Pac to be no1 and PBF no2. PBF beats Pac at WW and then i have no problem with PBF being no1 again. Buts hes got to work for it. Pac has done more since PBFs comeback at WW so should be no1.

Floyd is 6-0 at ww. Manny is 2-0. That is why he is the #1 ranked ww. Manny has yet to beat either the lineal champ, ring champ, undisputed champ, or #1 ranked at the weight. Manny has defeated 1 top 5 and 1 top 10 ww. Floyd has beaten 2 to 5 ww's (I would argue 3 because Baldomir was the undisputed ww champ when he lost to floyd).

              Marg KO'd Cotto.

              Mosley KO'd Marg.

              Mayweather UD'd Mosley.

                  Yep.

                  Baldi was Number 1.

                  Zab was Number 3.

                  Mosley was Number 1.

OK we will go around and around in circles here. But all i ask of PBF is to fight Pac to show me he deserves that no1 WW ranking.
