I am buimping this, I want to know how many Pac Fans believe the same way I did or how many was not sure...

Pac surprised me with all of this power he has at higher weights but the guys there are bigger and slower also the styles and condition in DLH's case made the fights easier for Pac.

Keep in mind that Pac really isn't much bigger now than he was at 130 he is just no longer having to make weight so I guess he comes into fights with much more in the tank, this I think is key, along with his speed and volume punching which was always there, and Roach to come up with solid game plans for him.

Roid allegations based on nothing other than a guy's success is BS, Pac is clean in my view.

I see alot of people acting like the PED accusations are unfounded. There is video of the whole HBO crew saying how they expected Pac to slow down giving the wars hes been in. Then all of sudden he gets this burst of energy and is hitting harder, faster and taking punches better. Mind you fighting bigger fighters and KOing them all under the behavior thats hes shown regarding the testing.


So which of you one posters knew Pac would carry his speed, power and stamina like that? Who expected this?

You think Kermit Cintron can go up and knock Pavlik, Froch, Abraham, Dawson if he gets unlimited supply of roids?

I actually expected him to bring his quickness with him but not his chin and power. We should not omit the fact that he's only been fighting guys tailor made for him. Fighters in which Freddie has discredited before they even step in the ring.

One thing i have not noticed people saying in this topic, is the fact that Manny is an all around better fighter today, compared to what he was. Some just don't seem to understand this...

I see most of the people that question his power never bring up things like punch placement, counters, and creating openings...All things Manny is doing very well right now.

He did not KO Oscar, but overwlemd him (to a TKO)...

He did KO Diaz, but that was after round after round of a beating...

He KO'ed Hatton. Did you even see where those punches were landing?

He did not KO Cotto (TKO), but the times he knocked him down, one was right on the button, the other was a shot to the ear/temple area.

I thought he could bring his power in the lower weights but i'm dissapointed with his last 3 fights except for hatton. I thought he could knock dela hoya out but he couldn't even knock him down, and he couldn't knock cotto out, it's just the ref stop the fight. So i vote for " i knew" but i was wrong.
