Who on this forum knew Pac would carry power. BE HONEST.

I see alot of people acting like the PED accusations are unfounded. There is video of the whole HBO crew saying how they expected Pac to slow down giving the wars hes been in. Then all of sudden he gets this burst of energy and is hitting harder, faster and taking punches better. Mind you fighting bigger fighters and KOing them all under the behavior thats hes shown regarding the testing.

So which of you one posters knew Pac would carry his speed, power and stamina like that? Who expected this?

Nobody knew for sure. There is always doubt as to how many of a fighters intangibles at one weight will hold up when going up in weight.

    Why are you asking?

In direct answer to your question - I hoped - but I certainly wasn't sure. I am no psychic. I have seen far too many fighters try their luck moving up only to be knocked (unconscious) off of their perch.

But, the HBO crew felt that cuz of his rematch with JMM... They just really underrated JMM... You can't compare a David Diaz to a JMM... Of course he would look awesome against David Diaz then what he did against JMM... Of courst he is going to look fresh against a walking dead Oscar De la Hoya.... Hell Edwin Valero whooped Oscar ass in sparring, Oscar couldn't even touch Ivan Calderon is sparring... Again you can compare Hatton to that JMM version at 130... The HBO made those comments cuz of how competitive JMM was against Pac. But, they truly underrated how good JMM was at 130...

I just knew he would knock Cotto out and tag him at will, does that count?

Anyone who picked Cotto over Pacquiao was on something, it was clear who would win before the fighters got into the ring.

better question would be, did you think pac would be able to take cottos punches as well as he did?
