And i'm basing this on styles, not shotness.
stay off of youtube my friend. you are repeating the exact words that i saw on youtube a few days ago. i think FOR MYSELF. yuri has never fought the level of comp as cotto has. cotto is a HARD body puncher and yuri hasn't been tested to the body like cotto will test him. who knows if cotto will be slower at 154. we have never seen him at 154. i would go out on a limb and say the DLH fight at 154 for floyd was a harder bout then this yuri 154 bout. if yuri blows cotto out of the water no way in hell cotto was the same fighter after the margo beating.

Get on youtube and watch some foreman fights my friend.

Foreman is a quick fighter, Cotto will be chasing him around the ring, firing off ineffective shots. Cotto hasn't fought anyone like Foreman. He has faced elements of Foremans style, and looked terrible doing it.

People who are calling Foreman another jennings are badly mistaken, Foreman is an underrated fighter imo, and Cotto will not be the same after those two beatings he took, even without that fact, i'd take Foreman to win.

I think cotto is a strange case, too small for 147, too big for 140, at 154 he will be out of his depth, i am certain of it.

What advantages will Cotto have in this fight??

      Possibly power.

Foreman has height, reach, speed, accuracy, freshness, skill.

Peoples looking past foreman, Cotto may be his 9th ko!

          cottos advantages.

experience (he's fought the MUCH better competition) power, heart, commitment to the body.

foreman has 2 split decisions against underachieved opponents.

foreman isn't that much faster then cotto. his speed is mostly within his legs. this is a HUGE step up for foreman.

"I think cotto is a strange case, too small for 147, too big for 140, at 154 he will be out of his depth, i am certain of it"

you haven't even seen him fight a DAY in your life at 154. he could be better off at this weight for all you know. and he wasn't too small for 147. i remember looking at how big he was training for clottey. his legs looked like mike tyson. i say pac is a bigger puncher then foreman and even he didn't really stop cotto. cotto has a good chin and a HUGE heart. foreman has pillow punches.

you're smoking something that's good to think foreman would beat pre margo cotto. will foreman even beat the guys that's with in his OWN division let alone prime cotto? I'm sure that Martinez would do a number on him. get real.

even if foreman BLOWS cotto OUT. that tells me that cotto was damaged since the margo bout and should have retired. not to say that foreman isn't a good fighter ether.

If Yuri beats Cotto, I will wonder what would have happened if Jennings was 7lbs heavier because on paper it should be the same fight for Cotto.

You guys are deluding yourselves thinking Cotto is "shot" after TWO LOSSES, stylistically this is good for Cotto but I have already talked about this enough on here and stated reasons as to why.

what's the big deal? I mean this fight is at 154 which is not good for cotto.

i won't be surprised if cotto got ko'ed in early round. Cotto doesn't belong to 154.

trust me. if cotto loses in a BLOW OUT to yuri they could do the same fight at 147 and it would come out the same way. it would be more of cotto being shot more so then weight.

                    so.

                    taking all of that in.

what would be left for PAC? lets say he gets by clottey. his best wins are against clottey, a weight drained DLH (no one can deny this) and last but not least, HATTON. i didn't mention marquez because he had trouble with him. so in all realty, his best wins would be against hatton & clottey. and this SAME EXACT FIGHTER is being tossed around as being the 2nd greatest fighter of ALL TIME? WTF!!!?

                    again, i ask.......

what if cotto loses to yuri O.O

not really..Cotto isn't a very big WW, he's strong but at 154 he's going to be very small with that 67 reach and only 5'7- 5'8 height.

and no..you know nothing of Pacquiao clearly. His best wins come from the mexican trio he finished off. Barrera, Marquez, Morales. Having those 3 names on your resume and a green W beside them pretty much makes you an instant ATG.

On top of that he busted DLH up jumping from 135 to 147, being a 130 lb fighter just a few months even before that. Then he went back down and wooped Hatton at his best weight. I thought it was impossible to write Pacquiao off but you somehow attempted anyways.

The thing is that Yuri though taller won't be that much bigger than him and may not be bigger than him walking around either.

Last time out Yuri came in on FN at only 161 for a 154lb fight.
