Anthony Mundine. Turned pro at 26 with no amateur career. Lost only to Ottke, Kessler and Manny Siaca with an injured ankle. Tremendous handspeed and ringsmarts, but suffered a freak eye injury - cleaning a contact lens with a spit and polish after an eye operation destroyed half(?) his vision in one eye. Fought a sad parade of nobodies in the years since and relinquished a title to avoid a Kessler rematch. Still claims to be a pound for pound champion though is slated to fight a guy with a 7-1 record in his next bout, delayed because of injuries. Incredible how people rubbish Cotto and Judah et al with a fraud like Mundine on the scene. He could of been so much more.
