Zab was considered Sweet Pea with power when he was coming out of the amateurs. I watched some of his amateur fights, he was insane good.

To me Zab is the Stephon Marbury of boxing. Has all the skills and talent, probably more than anyone, but mentally hes lost it.

He was never the same after he lost his first real test on a showtime event. I want to say it was showbox, or something of that nature.

Wasn't he sparring with oscar for Pac? Or some recent Oscar fight.

He took a really long break like 3 years or something after the Leija loss.

I know when Rubio beat him it was upset of the year.

But he got robbed against Forbes. I thought he clearly won that fight.

He lost big fights, but that's hardly flopping.

It's like people bringing up Mark Breland, who was spectacular in the ams.

He was a champion in the pros something people seem to forget.
i did not call him a flop the other poster did,he definetly did not reach his full potential though.

          Prince Naseem.

          I'm talking great here.

He had everything, but left his trainer and promtoer, got real ****y and arrogant and stopped taking the sport seriously.

He could have beaten the top 3 Mexicans and IMO even Pac at 126. He was so ****** in the end, and paid for it. He didn't lose too badly against Barrera as most claim. Yes he lost, but he stayed in there.

If Naz had that sparkle 4 years before and trained hard with Brendan Ingle, who had him since he was 9 or whatever, then I seriously think he wouldn't just be known as a P4P puncher, but the best FW in the world.

For now, he may get in the HOF, but he had the physical ability to be a beast against the best. I wish he was poor so he actually had to fight for money.

You were but it may have been before that that he sparred DLH.

It may have been in 2007.

. The thing is, it's like he quit. I remember DLH being furious with him he lost the Forbes fight, but **** I thought he won it.

                Just not emphatically.

I think GBP dumped him as a fighter.

Jermian Taylor - I thought he had the potential to be a ATG.

                  Paul Spadafora.

                  Vicente Escobedo.

                    Mark Breland comes to mind.

                      Very few do.

I just don't get why people call world champs flops. I mean they won it all.
