his route of ducking has him beating a prime bernard hopkins, james toney, a prime john ruiz, antonio tarver, reggie johnson, montell griffin, a past it mccallum that still gave toney all he could handle, completely shut out by jones

calzaghe on the other hand, has an overrated viking, and overated bum(lacy)
and a SD against a 44 year old who many thought he lost

      what a brilliant career hahaha
it must be eating you up inside that your favourite boxer is not takin seriously by anyone huh?

Tarver was his mando and I think Harding was his no 2 mando, the whole idea of the elimination contest was so jones didnt have to face two southpaws.

lol im talking about when Nunn was his mando at lhw for his WBC title. The WBC told him to fight Nunn and Jones vacated instead talking about going up to hw. Funny that he changed his mind right after Nunn lost his fight with Rocciagini for the vacant belt

Jones has always struggled with the Southpaws: Harding, Harding, Tarver*3, Calzaghe and I would say that Nunn was at least as good if not better than most of them

Hopkins wasnt in his prime even Roy admits this, James Toney was dangerously weight drained and his doctor told him not to fight. He was on a drip for 24 hours, Jones wouldnt rematch him at 175. Griffin gave Jones hell in the first fight before Roy cheated and Ruiz was a bum who Toney spanked better. Gift vs Tarver.

Calzaghe was smashing undefeated killers who people actually wanted to see him fight. Nobody was calling them overrated at the time. They were the guys who were going to beat him, infact KO him. Roys fights were considered jokes where HBO would dub him Reluctant Roy.

Jones never even owned a division he was in, he was a 4 weight paper Champion. History aint gonna remember any of his titles. :1point:

jesus christ your a dumbass, jones wantd to fight the best fighter in the division not named michalwezski, that was harding
tarver was ranked at number 8

how is it a duck that people wanted tarver proved before facing jones?
tarver fought NO ONE before harding, i actually find it hard to believe tarver was his mandatory but w/e

and jones has trouble with southpaws? i love how you type in harding twice(****in dumbass )
jones fought about 7 southpaws in a row before harding
and he dominated them all, COMPLETELY

the only reason he had problems with harding and tarver, is their rangy, tall, lanky, counter punching styles

joe calzaghe, is not eric harding, nor antonio tarver
calzaghe would get destroyed like reggie johnson did, but probabley end up getting stopped before round 10

Jones career ended the day he got his nice little contract with HBO which gave him a license to duck who ever he wanted. His downfall was really years in the making fighting cab drivers, not training properly it was only a matter of time before he met his own "Buster Douglas"

"[Joe's] cherished record that he always blathers on about ... has more question marks on it than The Riddler’s cat suit .. he mentions [it] in every single tedious interview. He can only dine out on that record for so long.
