lol, thats why that "he was a nobody then" argument never works.

The ones who say that, always go on to fight a guy who is lesser known.

Jones only wanted to fight the fighters he liked, which most of the time where never the best fighters out there.

You are correct I have a problem with Bhop who made his pro debut at cw before moving down three divisions beating up ww'S and jmw's. But I have no problem with Jones returning back to his old division for a fight. Hardly the same thing and besides the original post just goes to show you Calzaghe Haters that he tried to make big fights and was willing to fight in America.

you are one of my favorite fictional authors. why would jones drop to 168 to fight calzaghe? that would never happen. calzaghe would have to come up and you would chastise him for fighting smaller fighters. i know all your hypocritical angles. you go on believing he tried to make big fights when its obvious he did not. his own promoter says so. it was all a farce.

Hopkins weighed in at 177 lbs for his first pro fight, two lbs over the lhw limit, so it can be classed as cw

I have no problem with a guy who has fought a lot of naturally bigger guys like Jones fighting a smaller guy like Calzaghe. Calzaghe could of moved up you are right, but that wasnt what stopped the fight from happening. According to Warren who you love to quote Roy Jones asked for even more money, thats why the fight never happened.

My question to you is this when is Warren telling the Truth when he was working with Calzaghe or after he was fired by Calzaghe?

It's just a pitty Hopkins and Jones ducked him. :wank:
and calzaghe and ottke liked that just fine. they could stay in their comfort zones and rack up 21 title defenses in the same weight division at the same exact time without ever having to face one another. it was a total racket. they never had any intentions of facing the best. and you defend these clowns?
