You're correct. He's being given home advantage, home referees that allow him to headbutt, and California Boxing Commission-appointed judges.

Can you imagine what the boxing analysts/writers/fans would be saying if it was Arthur Abraham having all his fights in Germany, Mikkel Kessler having all his fights in Denmark, or Carl Froch having all his fights in England?

Is that why there was a Swedish judge in that fight, a judge that also was judging Kesslers fight against Perdomo?

This is what I remember hearing before the tourney began

I remember all of the original judges being from Ward's hometown, very level playing field eh?

No judge could've saved Kessler headbutts or not.

Ward beat his ass plain and simple.

                    You seem to have misunderstood.

The original judges for the bout were all from California.

Then Sauerland said "hold on a minute, isn't this a bit unfair?"

                    The judges were then changed.

                    Understand?

Originally, they had all three judges from California. Only after Sauerland protested to the WBA, they replaced two of them with judges from neutral countries.

You'll be rooting for Ward if he fights Froch, won't you? Even though you're an Englishman.
