why is he allowed to get away with hometown cooking where he can headbutt his opponents to death? to me it just seems really fishy, like showtime are using the tournament to make him a superstar.
Why does ward get to have all his fight in the us?

That is very unfair, but it's not like he beat Kessler because of hometown judging, he beat Kessler because he was better. He should definitely have to leave the country though for ONE fight, everyone else does.Comment

Because that's the stipulation for him to enter the tourney...having all of his preliminary bouts in Oakland...MAN, It's SHOWTIME! - not Sky, not ARD, not Viasat who promotes the whole tourney in first place - certainly they want to build an American youngster into a superstar...though, if a foreign boxer can overcome the odds and beat them US fighters, he's earned the superstar level on the world stage...Comment

are all his fights in Oakland, or will he fight Dirrel somewhere else in the states (i.e. not in his own backyard)?Comment

I don't think that's been set yet.
If Dirrell beats Abraham and Wards loses to Green, I would expect the fight to happen in Detroit or Vegas or somewhere else outside of California.Comment
