Seriously why do people even give Mayweather Sr. responses when he talks... He's like that dunk old man that hangs out in front of the liquor store that try's to lecture you about life... You're hearing him but taking nothing he's saying seriously...

the philippines was part of spain 'til 1898.

the filipinos were rebelling against spain and when the spanish-american war happened the filipinos fought on the side of the americans.

when spain surrendered they gave philippines to america which of course caused conflict with the filipinos who fought to be independent.

the bullets weren't bouncing off of filipino soldiers. how the hell is that even possible?

what happened was that filipinos would fight in close combat with bolo machetes. the american army at the time was using .38 revolvers and they didn't like the performance of the .38 in close combat. often the filipinos would get hit by .38 bullets but still be able to close the distance and use their bolos.

that's the reason why the americans developed the colt 1911 .45 pistol. the .45 had more stopping power than the .38 revolvers.

I bet you both Golden Boy and Top Rank love the **** that come out of Floyd Sr. mouth. They know that BS keeps both their fighters name out there and it's going to do nothing but drum up more interest for the fight when it comes which means more $$$$$$$$$$.
