It kind of sounds like Floyd did Bruseles a lot nastier than Jones did.

Floyd was talking to Lampley about the NFL playoffs during the fight and stopped him if memory serves me correctly.

I remember when there was a lol in the fight and Floyd said he liked Vick and the Falcons while beating up on Henry.

and as much as your love for Jones saw a flawless fight I saw things Nitro did that makes me think a strong right hand welter or a durable left hook welter would be his undoing

his high guard screams for a body attack and when Nitro did it Jones stopped his action. When Jones jabbed he left his left out there for Nitro to counter with rights. His guard on the inside is wrong and begging for an uppercut which Nitro threw and landed
i don't think nitro showed much of anything from what I saw. it was more of a pitty match early on (first 2 rounds) and jones took over from there. i actually gave the 2nd round to jones. from watching jones previous fights i can see that he wasn't looking for the ko at all. this was way too easy for jones and it didn't really show any flaws (especially if you're going by the 1st 2 rounds which were warm up rounds) we gotta see him in there with a better fighter to see what flaws he has. he looks to be very good though.

I commented on that earlier where Floyd had much more experience like 30 fights under his belt when he fought this guy and Jones had 19 under his. Take it for what it is worth but experience means a lot compared to raw skill alone. Some people think I'm being irrational but I think it is logical to assume this.

I don't really care either way, just arguing my point I guess; others are entitled to theirs as well so I ain't mad but I mean it is like I shat on Floyd's front porch for saying such a thing, lol

jones is a taller boxer and needs to fight this way. i will never understand when people LOVE a come forward slugger but when this same slugger gets knocked down or hurt (ortiz) people will then scramble to tell the slugger that he should have boxed and used his skills and it's his own fault.

it's ridiculous how ******ed some boxing fans are.

            ALL IN CAPS TOO!!!

nah your statement that he beats Mayweather in 5 more fights is pure idiocy

thats not Mayweather fan bias thats not hate for Jones, who I like.

thats just responding to an utterly ****** statement from a man who saw Jones for all of two fights

you judged this based on a beating a fighter who is a career B/C level fighter fighting past his best days and past his best weight

Jones is good, can be real good, but to say he beats Mayweather at anything other than being taller shows you lack of knowledge about the sport

and yes seeing two fights of Jones can qualify you to know a bit about him

however to make such a claim that he beats Mayweather in 5 more fights is what is very lol about you

Oh I didn't take it that way.

              Just made an observation.

It will be nice to see how Jones progresses sure.

Dude if Floyd started at 140 Floyd would've beat Bruselles in his pro debut. Lets be real here.

Jones is b-level...end of story. Bruseles was out a year and Jones made him look game.

Jermain Taylor was smokin cats at 20-0 and look at him now. Smoked.

pitty match? lol there is no such thing when your opponent is in front of you still throwing as if he was in the fight

he showed plenty of flaws as I pointed to previously

but yes he can be very good as I stated as well

You are entitled to your opinion man, which is cool. I could say whatever to insult your stance but I'll leave it at: Mayweather (the guy that will be fighting Mosley in May), is not as aggressive as the Mayweather jr that fought Jose louis castillo. He is primarily a defensive, counter puncher who tends to avoid risks in the ring as opposed to attacking offensively with 7-8 hit combinations. A younger, nearly as fast (if not as fast), taller, hungrier guy who does not have the ability to draw millions of dollars, would be at his optimum in a fight with Floyd given the ability to gain a comparative experience level with 5 or so more fights.

I feel a guy in his position would likely not under estimate Floyd as Floyd would under estimate him for his LACK OF EXPERIENCE and given his natural ability, would force Floyd to fight a fight that he would not be accustomed to have previously fought.

This is my point, so if I'm "******" or whatever for thinking this, then that is your opinion and I really can't begrudge you for that but if "you don't know **** about boxing" is what you are going to come back with, then man I just can really debate with a mindset like that. I doubt many people could, no offense, it seems like a cop out or something because of some reason , which does not involve my opinion at all because you have already deemed it as irrelevant.
