I am really surprised at Clottey's comments, I am fascinated by it.

It took a Joshua Clottey to figure out why Pacquiao was so successful beating his opponents. It's never by Pac's speed and power alone.

It has more to do with Pac's opponents. They under-estimated Manny, they are too confident to beat the small guy thinking a small guy can't take a big guy's punch. That's the same mistakes I have everytime Pac fights, I said before that Manny is fast and strong but what if the big guy lands flush and caught Pac clean? From Diaz to Cotto that's what I keep telling people. Pac's opponents get a shock after landing their punches and see Manny unfazed by it, couple it with Pac's punches and the game is done.

This time in Clottey, maybe he is by far the smartest of all Pac's recent opponents. What does Roach keep telling the people? that they study their opponents tapes to "LOOK FOR HABITS" mistakes that a fighter does in every fight then they "CAPITALIZE" on it.

It's never by Pac's strength alone... It's his opponent's weakness.

If Clottey wins this fight...I won't be surprised. I just hope he does what he says and not under-estimate Pacquiao.

Anybody who knows a thing about boxing knows that Pac didn't beat Cotto with only power. The punches that dropped Cotto were perfectly placed quick combo shots. Pac was the quicker better boxer and that is why he won.

The problem most rational minded people have with Pac's success is when it happened. After 50 tough, professional fights and at an age where fighters slow down. It's not like Pac's career started like this he all of a sudden developed a monster chin, endurance and punch and anyone with a brain knows that doesn't happen in sports. Clottey has sold out and is a bonafide loser. Bob Arum himsefl said that Clottey doesnt have a chance to win. If all this sudden fortune is mother nature then submit to random testing and show us.

Lets be serious, Clottey has no chance in Hell of defeating Pacquaio. They discuss a possible upset to bamboozle the fans so they'll tune in and watch this Bull. Tune in May 1st, that'll be the fight to watch.

the problem with most of this guys are they underestimate pacquiao. they take a quick look at him and they think they figured him out already. notably his size. pacquiao is undersize for his weight class. pacquiao's demeanor also helps. he's always smiling outside the ring. opponents underestimate his power he could punch thats the reason why roach took him in after being rejected by several trainers (if they only knew). his fighting style is awkward and unorthodox. he has roy jones foot speed and balance which enable him to throw punches at weird angles. sometimes even with only one foot down. most of all they underestimate his ring intelligence and the inner drive. just because he cannot express himself fluently in english does not mean his dumb. i dare you to speak pilipino lets see how will you do or better yet his dialect bisaya which is used in his corner during fights. actually they use english, tagalog and bisaya when giving him instructions...

Don't be silly. He won his first lineal world title when he was only 19. This despite the fact that he had spent many of his teenage years as a homeless vagrant and had not had any access to world class trainers or training facilities. By the time he was 25, he had won three world titles, two of them lineal, and one of them against a future Hall of Famer in his prime. Very few boxers in history have achieved as much as he did at such a young age.

His rise has been steady and consistent and far from sudden. And he's never taken much punishment - he's not like Gatti.

And many fighters have their best years in their early 30s. I don't see any obvious signs of Mayweather slowing down, and he's nearly two years older than Pacquiao is.
