Can Juan Carlos Gomez still be a force in the HW Division?

Gomez is a cute heavyweight that will play the "hit and don't get hit" game to perfection. I can see him winning a boring fight, but I can't see him taking out a serious contender.

I agree that Gomez would have been a better test than Diaz.

maybe he can get a fight with someone like sam peter in the future and prove he is much better than the diaz fight, he needs to be 100% focused to get to the very top

Gomex brings nothing special to the heavyweight division. He cannot change anything in that divison nowadays, especially if he only fights in Europe where the opposition is not the same as in USA.
