                yes thats correct, bryd mostly uses his upper body reflexes, that's what he was trying to do with ike ibeabuchi when he was sitting on the ropes using his upper body reflexes when ibeabuchi landed that uppercut which knocked him senseless

                  for the record i think gomez would be a much tougher opponent for sam peter than diaz was, peter is a big slow guy, and i think if gomez is fully focused and on his game, he could possibly outbox peter over twelve rounds so long as he dosn't get caught by a bomb

                      Gomez is a cute heavyweight that will play the "hit and don't get hit" game to perfection. I can see him winning a boring fight, but I can't see him taking out a serious contender.

                      I agree that Gomez would have been a better test than Diaz.
