Kessler probably just gets away with it because he's so damn white.

It ain't alright, if it ain't all white.

It makes Andrade's chin all the more impressive, he took 300 shots from Kessler's loaded wraps and never took a step backwards.

I agree, ward gets too much credit for being a headbutt king.

Aside from everything already mentioned, another thing that bothers me is that it was Ward's trainer who had to speak up to get it done right.

Margarito was caught by his opponent's trainer. Kessler's wraps were noticed by his opponent's trainer. Same with Tito. There is no solid evidence to suggest that any boxing commissioner does their job correctly when it comes to handwraps; if your trainer doesn't pay attention to your opponent's hands then it seems like nobody else will.

I hadn't thought of it like that. I wonder if the commissioner is supposed to raise an objection if the trainer does not?

In he video the commission rep isn't even watching the taping, he only shows up in the picture after Ward's trainer raises an objection.

Well that means there is a good reason why trainers go to see their fighter's opponents' get their hands wrapped, then.
