Aside from everything already mentioned, another thing that bothers me is that it was Ward's trainer who had to speak up to get it done right.

There is no solid evidence to suggest that any boxing commissioner does their job correctly when it comes to handwraps; if your trainer doesn't pay attention to your opponent's hands then it seems like nobody else will.
