That would mean I really underrated Pacquiao drawing power...
Yeah, I agree, 500-600K are really good numbers but I expect better. I'm not seeing much of the hype though. I guess 24/7 does make that much of a difference.

Yea but, JMM helped also.... Floyd did most numbers. But, have JMM as the best Mexican fighter and fighting on a Mexcican independents day weekend helped a little... And, then when JMM drank his own piss, helped promote the fight. Everybody was talking about that, even the non sports channels in English and Spanish were talking about that... That clip helped sell the fight. And, also Mayweather coming back from a long layoff had something to do with also...

I agree with the Piss drinking. That's the reason it sells 1m. But JMM only got a few percentage for doing that. So Floyd give him extra $600K by coming overweight.

Did what I can to hype the fight, submitted my piece. Hype not for Arum, or Dallas, or even Pac though. I simply accept the point of view that this is the biggest fight of Clottey's career and that it should be acknowledged.

Arum, imo, deserves no credit for this, he's done a terrible job in my opinion. I'd give Jerry Jones more credit, it was his idea and his proposal anyway. Apparently Arum has left all the promoting to the Cowboy owner as well.

If you ask me, in the case of Mayweather-Marquez, that 600K was better for him than Floyd losing the 2 pounds. Either way JMM was getting an azz whipping, at least this way he pocketed an extra 600K, heck he made more with a penalty than he does with most of his fights!!!

Whats not good for Pac-Clottey is that I dont even think a lot of hardcore fans are going to buy it. Now we are definitely going to watch it, but I suspect most of us are going out to do so.

He wouldn't just walk forward clumsily swinging like Oscar is when Floyd is smashing him with the rights.
Pacquiao always swinging recklesly and he is open to counters. Floyd will Counter him to death!
