  • Well he let Floyd fight dirty, with the elbows didnt he? Its proven if you are concentrating and looking at one thing, you miss another thing. Cortez was clearly looking for Hattons dirty tactics and intervening at every stage and missing FLoyds.

Lets fact it Cortez made it an easier night for Floyd than it could have been. In the same way refs made it easier for Sven Ottke. Theres no disguising it.

      Nah, I dont think so.
Floyd would do that to Hatton regardless. He is too skilled.

      • hatton was mentally beaten even before they step in the ring... cortez was there to stop any intentional illegal actions and roughing which plays to be hattons' bread and butter..

The referee should be at least honored by Floyd fans as he exerted extra effort in refereeing while at the same time making sure that Floyd can execute his plan.
          This must be Ricky Hatton.

I think Hatton would have landed some body shots and casue a few problems

Everytime Joe interferes are those times that Hatton had a chance to KO this fraud

^At least there are Floyd fans who does admit that Floyd got a lot of help from Joe

I admire this Floyd fan for saying it as it is

                    • this thread is hillarious! Hatton could fight Mayweather a hundred times and he'd still get Knocked out no doubt about it,as soon as floyd found his rythm you could notice the class apart a million miles away.
