In addition to that you cant judge floyd on what happened the rest of Corrales's career. If you wanna do that im sure you dont consider Morales, Barerra,DLH or Hatton to be legitamate wins since they were all past prime, on losing streaks or washed up when pac fought them.

When floyd met Corrales he was #1 in his class and #5 p4p and was even picked to beat floyd. Thats all that pertains to floyd, anything that happened after the fight cant take away from what floyd gained from winning.
He was a untested prospect with potential. .. and to floyds credit got beat by the better fight.

Untested prospects dont make #5 p4p.

So we can now agree you were incorrect in your claims that Corralles was "mediocre" when he fought floyd right?

He didn't, at least not in terms of skill. But he outshined him in status.

Floyd comes out of retirement from not fighting in nearly 2yrs and fights a LW at WW and still didnt meet the WW limits at weighin and get bumped to #2 P4P HEHEHEHEHE WTF did he do in the last 3 yrs that was great? So if you dont think a prospect in its self can make The P4P rankings and especially #5...You are nuts Lol Nonito Donaire only has 23 wins and hes in the rankings #6 your point is invalid

Oscar won 3 rounds at best. 4 if your're an Oscar fan.
According to Sr, Oscar won that fight.

“I thought Oscar won the fight on points, threw more punches and was more aggressive,” said the senior Mayweather, who munched popcorn as he watched the fight from a $2,000 ringside seat given to him by De La Hoya. “My son had good defense and caught a lot of his punches, but I still thought Oscar pressed enough to win the fight.”
