Its a shame Zahir career never took off after that, he was a talented fighter
I don't know if it would have been exciting. I can picture a whole lot of clinching like Tyson-Bonecrusher Smith.

Actually, Witherspoon-Smith II backfired on Spoon.

    McGuigan-Cruz, too.

          Pavlik - Hopkins

I know many of you will say: "How can Hopkins be a hand picked opponent?"

It is simple. Pavlik's team thought Hopkins was old and ripe for the taking after the Calzaghe fight. Boy were they wrong!LOL

                How about DLH VS Pac?

Oscar picked a talented but much smaller man because Pac was being callled the mexicutioner after his wins against top mexicans. DLH wanting more accteptance from the Mexican community chose pac. 95% of the people hated the matchup and did not give pac who is coming up 2 weight classes much of a chance.

Turned out one of the worst beating of Oscars career.

Yep. Spoon smacked him around for 12 rounds about a year and a half before they fought again.

                  Also:
                  Wilfredo Gomez-Alfredo Layne
Holmes-Shavers 1 (Shavers was supposed to kill Holmes)
                  Chavez-Willie Wise 1
                  John Tate-Mike Weaver
