Mosley has a better resume then Floyd because he lost to Winky and Vernon?

So you are telling me Oscar has the best resume ever?Comment

It's reasonable to think that he would. His hardest obstacle would have been Winky. And lets not act like Winky couldn't have beaten back then either. I remember journeymen like Bronco Mcart being competitive with Winky.
My bottom line is that Floyd Mayweather is a better boxer than Shane Mosley.
Look at the second De La Hoya-Mosley fight. De La Hoya's jab DOMINATED Shane Mosley all night long. Against Mayweather, De La Hoya's jab was taken away midway through the fight
Mayweather is a better boxer.Comment

oscar had beaten the following when he and shane fought- pernell whitaker (i'm counting it if you are counting floyd's first win over castillo), oba carr, ike quartay, MAG (who was about 40-0 at the time), denero hernandez (long b4 floyd). that kills castillo's resume whoich consisted soley of two wins v steve johnson that were controversial. he had no one else but maybe paez on his resume at the time
Now what does that prove?Comment

dumbest post I have ever seen........ever.
a resume is your overall body of work as a fighter, included in that is your:
a) record, what level was your opponent fighting at when you beat them and how did the fight go down
b) level of competition fought, at their time in their careers, and at what weight. since this is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over your head horus, i will try to explain. kostya tszyu crushing a legend like chavez when he was old, is not as impressive as say a shane mosley chasing down a winky wright who was top 3 pfp, prime and being avoided my everyone and their momma. this is no mirage like diego corrales who's best win was angel manfredy or robert garcia. shane lost that fight, but he still went down fighting and garnered respect and experience vs a prime, big, elite fighter.
c) longevity as an elite fighter
a)shane's first win over DLH crushes any single win you can find on floyd's resume. dlh was a monster at the time and very highly regarded. he turned out to be a hof lock. floyd's best win is an overrated corrales. by the time floyd fought oscar, he was getting smacked around by the like of felix sturm.
b) winky x2, forrest at 33-0, 34-0, cotto at 31-0 or soemthing like that. vargas, margarito, oscar in his prime
c) close enough not to argue over.
god your radio show must suck a$$ horus. you make people dumberComment

this **** is funny as hell
Milton, reread your OP
Walt was saying Shane took more risks than Floyd
he wasn't saying Shane was better
in the context of this particular thread, resume simply meant comp faced, though generally speaking, resume talks wins
in this thread, based on your OP, I was getting at res just being names, not how you did against those names
this went over your head man
Walt wasn't including record when talking about Shane's resComment
