Floyd is an ATG, but Manny is ranked higher than him. Floyd is ranked in the 40's and Manny is around 20's.

In my opinion, Floyd is a hall of famer but not ATG, BUT his career is not over. If Floyd beats Shane and Manny at 147, he will be an ATG.

His body of work at 130 and 135 is nowhere near ATG status. He left many competitors at those weights. Plus his work at 140 and 147 is laughable to be considered ATG status.

Floyd's win over Oscar is probably his only win on his resume over an HOF fighter, and we all know that win was decent, but certainly not a great victory.

                Most definitely.

His WW reign has indeed been ****, but he's beat up a fair few HOF'ers.

His resume is a very good resume.

JMM - OK this was more a tune up IMO, but JMM is a good fighter. HOF

Hatton - HOF IMO. Very good fighter at 140. Better than journeyman level at 147.

Oscar - He is an ATG to me. I'm not sure where but a very good fighter. Out of prime but 154 and still ok at the time.

Mitchell - Again a decent fighter

Gatti - Kinda out of it by this time, but a good name. Tough guy and a great name for fans

Brusselles - I don't know him if I am honest. Sorry

Corley - Was ok at the time. Fought top names, maybe a handing of the glove type of fighter.

Ndou - Tough guy that comes to fight. He fights anyone if he can

Sosa - I don't know him I'm sorry. I have heard of him though

Castillo - HOF and a very exciting, good fighter.

Jesus Chavez, still around now. Tough fighter again

                Hernandez - Champ

Coralles - HOF imo. Everyone knows this man had the heart of 3 lions.

Augustus - This man is a cheap version of Glen Johsnon lol

I don't know all of them that well, just bits and bobs, but that resume is hot.

At 130, Floyd could beat everyone. At 135, 140 he is in the top 5 IMO. At 147, he needs to prove to me what he is about, but the man could beat plenty of people under the top 5 or 6.

No, he never fought other ATG's like Miguel Cotto, Antonio Margarito, and Joshua Clottey.

Fighting no names and cherry picked opponents like Castillo 2x, Corrales, Hatton, De La Hoya, Marquez, Judah, Chavez, Hernandez and now Shane Mosley who's coming off two KO wins against two other bums(Oh wait one of those bums was the ATG that I mentioned Floyd didn't fight...oops!) And he was even trying to pick on poor lil Pacquiao(Oops he too KO'ed another ATG that Floyd ducked why would Floyd want to fight this guy?).

Lol Floyd ain't even close to being an ATG.

Great post Walt! Floyd is arguably considered the best Superfeather Weight boxer of all time or at least top 5 but that is nowhere near ATG isn't it
