Ive explained this **** so many times yet you guys are blinded with hate to see whats going on.
oh so he doesn't care about fighting the best? only fighting guys who have fanbases? nice. so i guess he's going to houston to fight juan diaz next? maybe erik morales after that?

Paulie still is a step up in class though to who Khan has faced before, yes i think he should fight Maidana but its not happening so hopefully it will after this fight.

Anyway im sure Khan will beat Paulie with easy and either fight Maidana or maybe another belt holder like Alexander, Urango or Bradley this year. He is only 22 or 23 so he has got years to fight the best, I think all the hate is not really called for imo even though im am a little pissed of that he ducked Maidana.
I agree with everything you just said, I just think that Khan shouldn't have fought for a championship belt if he is not ready to be or act like a champion. I understand why GBP are protecting him and I actually prefer the Malignaggi fight over the JMM fight because at least Malignaggi is a true top ten LWW but also why are the WBA not doing anything to make Khan fight Maidana?

I agree with you there pal, its GDB over protecting their income. Im sure you could put any boxer in the light welter weight div in front of Khan and he'd fight them. But doesnt mean his promotional company will let him.

Its a shame that boxing politics & tactal match ups comes in to play as its only the viewer who suffers.

Khan is not losing any money, it is money that is promised to him when they signed him. He would want to take a lost to make it happen but that is why fighters have promoters and managers, to make deals happen. Maidana was at a cheaper price but Paulie is the safer fighter to fight.

If they are banking that they are gonna run over Paulie there are in for a suprise. Odds are with Khan beating Paulie but it is not as easy as they think. If they really thing he is worth that much money then GBP should do a PPV event in the USA with him so they can collect as much money as they can, since they really believe that he is worth so much.

This is like anybody else business, let somebody else put the money and if it flops you won't be at a financial lost.

Well, he has the belt now. He has the power now too since he can dictate who he fights next and when he will fight his "mandatory" next. So, keep on hatin' lol.

GBP has no intention of putting Khan in with a devastating puncher like Maidana anytime soon. I can almost guarantee that their plan is to have Khan fight (and hopefully beat) Paulie so he can fight another GBP fighter who doesn't have a punch, Juan Diaz. Juan Diaz has a huge Texas fanbase, they stage that fight in Houston and then it becomes BIG and each fighter can make some bank. Then, if he beats Diaz, then they might consider Maidana, Valero or possibly even Bradley (hey, we can always dream...)

KOKing27, I think you are right although I see the 3d fight being against Ortiz also with Golden Boy.

Yes thats pretty much how it is at the moment, but i do see Kevin Mitchell eying a fight with Khan this year after the Katsidis fight if it comes off.
