So what, he is still losing money. Golden Boy guaranteed him $1m a fight, it is in his contract. Khan is in effect ripping up the promises made to him to get this fight made.

And people always make the excuse - "Oh I would get in the ring for a thousand pounds". Maybe you would. But would you go to work if your employer cut your wages by 40%?

Boxing is peoples livelihoods. They risk their lives to entertain. They deserve all the money they can get.

Khan would use his height and reach to ensure Marquez never landed anything even close to testing his glass jaw. Even Marquez's team know it hence why they turned down the opportunity to fight for Khan's title at 140. JMM and Malignaggi are equally perfect opponents for Khan's US debut.
