His claim to fame is beating Valuev? Not being the unified CW champion, Heavyweight title holder and his great power and speed?
Haye is a decent HW but come on people.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Also Haye would beat most heavyweights out there, Even Vitali after his last performance which was just awful (not entirely his fault) but IMO Haye would be too quick and would KO him, I just dont see why people dont give Haye much of a chance against either of the Klitshcko's, if Haye fights Vitali, I would bet 50k that Haye beats him (I'll quickly hit the points thread :P).
Also, the weight difference between Haye and Valuev was that of a flyweight to a heavyweight, IMO he carried out the game plan very well.Comment

He's also known for knocking out Jean-Marc-Mormec in his home town.
And making sure all the kings horses and all the kings men couldn't put Enzo's chin back together again. Getting rid of Fragomeni too.
He's had a silver medal as an amateur at the world championships, held the WBC,WBA, and WBO at Cruiserweight.
Had two real fights at heavyweight in which he has beaten an old gatekeeper in Monte Barrett and claimed a world title against a limited but massive champion.
He's done all this (aside from his world championship medal, obviously) in 23 fights.
Sorry, but Haye is pretty hard to discredit.
He's not done badly.Comment

I give him credit for beating Audley's leftovers and Cliff Couser's leftovers. He's also known for knocking out Jean-Marc-Mormec in his home town.

Two fights at heavyweight does not a star make. I agree with the cruiserweight bit he did excellently. My though how Enzo has fallen.
He's gotta prove his bones to me at heavyweight. I don't see that he's done it yet.Comment

It's easy for folks to get excited and I can understand it though I remain skeptical. Beyond Valuev, he's almost always been exciting, he's got speed and power to go with personality, and he actually gives a damn enough to look in shape every time out.
The last one is so rare outside of the Klit family it's downright disgusting.Comment
