A fight in higher demand was Floyd-Nas, that is the only fight that was IN DEMAND that didn't happen, these other guys names where just thrown around by the media. All the while Floyd made it clear that he wanted Nas, then on to Mosley, and De La Hoya at 147.

No one complained about those ambitions.
Again Im a huge Naz fan and Floyd vs Naz was never in demand like you are trying to apply. The world then wanted to see Naz vs Morales, Naz vs Barrera etc. HBO laid out a 4-5 fight plan for Naseem but Hamed pretty much gave up after the Barrera loss. He was suppose to fight Morales next but instead fought Miguel Calvo. Sorry but you fail...seeing Im a huge Naz fan.

BTW only person that was pushing that fight was Floyd because Naz was the cash king of the lower weight class. Again step your game up Junior.

"Of course, before Mayweather (29-0, 20 KOs) packs on 20 pounds and chops up De La Hoya, he has a prior engagement to take care of. He defends his WBC lightweight title against Victoriano Sosa in Fresno, CA on April 19.
This is a minor interruption in Mayweather’s grand scheme of someday ruling boxing between the lightweight and middleweight divisions, though even Mayweather isn’t pompous enough to think he can do it all at the same time.
After beating Sosa and maybe fighting mandatory challenger Juan Lazcano or former lightweight champ Stevie Johnston, Mayweather says he would like his shot at De La Hoya. And since Bob Arum promotes both fighters, it’s a fight that could actually happen sometime next year.
        Arum must be almost giddy."

First off, Stevie was the man (with the WBC belt, you know, the one Floyd loves). They were in talks for about 6 months. Floyd turned down the fight (see reasons in my other post). Stevie went on to fight Castillo (they were the top three in the division). The rest is history. Floyd went after Castillio, and never gave Stevie his shot.

P.S. That fight was in huge demand at the time.
Once again, my post was about money not Stevie's titles?

Get the **** out here boy. All Stevie said is that Floyd is moving up weight classes and that he is chasing him.

Now isnt that THE SAME **** Floyd says about Mosley? Floyd was moving up in weight to chase an Oscar fight.

I mean seriously. The boxing world wanted to see this fight real bad. I was never a fan of Floyd back then but this was common knowledge. Like I said you can tell these guys probably started following Floyd and boxing in general around the Gatti vs Mayweather fight in 05.

Floyd called out Naz right after he beat the **** out of Diego. Merchant looked at him and said "Now you know he aint gon fight you after tonight".

The only thing that was going to keep Floyd at 130-135 was Prince Naseem, when it was obvious that wasn't going to happen Floyd moved on. So when I'm talking IN DEMAND I'm speaking of Floyd's agenda, not Merchant or some other media person running off at the mouth about Stevie Johnson. Stevie fought Castillo and Castillo emerged as the more attractive opponent for Mayweather. Is that not true?
