Why should he accept 50/50 if he beats Shane and his PPV does better than Manny's. Boxing does not work like that and never has. It's a bad business decision to give him 50% if ur PPV destroys his. Arum and *******s used the Cotto numbers as justification for why Manny should get more or at a min 50%----> now u want to use Floyd doing the exact same thing and call it a duck.........can u say contradictiory??????
very good counter check. but i dont think this dude will hear you.

people forget, floyd weighed less than baldomir, de la hoya, gatti, coralles, and many other fighters, yet he still dominated them---excuses are just that to people, excuses---roy jones went up to heavyweight and dominated ruiz----pac beat oscar---i mean, it's skill people----if the shoes were reversed--i bet you floyd would still dominate marquez if he moved up----if jmm was the bigger man, floyd would still beat him---

        Floyd takes this easily.
Had JMM been as successful in his fight with Mayweather as he was against Pacquiao would the discussion of weight be an issue. Pacquaio moved up and was successful against Cotto and DLH so that's ok. JMM made the decision to move up in weight just like Pacquiao did but he got in the ring with someone who had too much skill and got outclassed. On fight night, Pacquaio was still smaller than DLH but his skill spoke not his weight. JMM was not fat as many keep suggesting either, look at the post fight interview and he was just as lean as he always was. Mayweather moved up to 154 to fight DLH but again it was skill not size that won the fight. In fact I can almost guarantee you that DLH was weighing at least 165 for that fight compared to Mayweather's 150-155 tops. It wasn't weight but skill that carried the night.

So if Floyd fights JMM, Mosley, and Pac in succession is that not the best? Is the so called P4P #1, #2, and #3 not the best?

            • even Pacman, well regarded as P4P and toe to toe fighter did not trade punches against DLH in the beginning rounds! he even look funny turning his back against DLH and run scared of DLH left hook. Winning is what it counts and strategy plays an important role in every opponents style. In fact, PBF used ropa dope and absorbs DLH punches in the beginning rounds compare to Pac who box and outrun the old and drain DLH.

Here is the reality for almost every fight that Floyd wins, his detractors create an excuse for it. They cant just accept that Floyd beat them with his superior skill.

at the latter part of his career he decided to man up. exclude marquez from that list because that was a glorified sparring session. You cant compare ali to floyd because Ali fought the best consistantly throughout his career and gave us memorable fights, floyd has not.
