He'll be the aggresor and will most likely outpunch Money. I can see Mosely getting a close decision. I don't think the 15 month layoff will be a major factor. His all career has been plague by inactivity. This dude is a Gym rat though.
you mean like he beat cotto?

      LMAO@ your post...

Boxer "Sugar" Shane Mosley testified in 2003 that he injected himself with the notorious doping agent EPO as he prepared for his light-middleweight title fight against Oscar De La Hoya, according to grand jury transcripts and doping calendars reviewed by the Daily News.

The Mosley transcripts are part of a massive BALCO file that was under a protective order from March of 2004 until last week, when U.S District Court Judge Susan Illston vacated the order at the request of prosecutors who are preparing for the March 2 trial of Barry Bonds on perjury charges.

In the testimony, recorded on Dec. 11, 2003, at the federal courthouse in San Francisco, Mosley also said that BALCO founder Victor Conte explained in detail how the drug was used and what its effects would be, including the potential harmful effects of the highly-regulated endurance booster. Mosley has admitted publicly and under oath that he used steroids and EPO, but has denied knowing that the drugs were banned or illegal.

When asked if he had gotten EPO from Conte, Mosley replied: "Yes, the hematocrit."

"And that's something you actually inject into yourself?" he was asked by Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeff Nedrow.

"I think it's right by your stomach, yes," Mosley said, indicating where the drug is often injected.

Dude how you figure that, Marquez is tough as nails and no one has knocked him out, he's been down but never out. Just cause he weighed less than Floyd doesn't make him any less tough, or with any less heart.

first it was he wasnt the biggest draw.....then it was because he has had the most PPV's....then it was his opponents fan base....now its cause of his persona?

Make your mind up man you sound pathetic
how am i making excuses? i have been saying this from my first post. his ppv numbers are down to his persona because he plays the bad guy, without this he would do **** numbers because of his style. he needs a persona to generate interest to the casual fans because his style is not appealing.

Why didnt Manny take Marquez out easily? He fought him for 24 rounds and knocked him down 4 times....

isnt Pac faster, more skilled & STRONGER than Mayweather?

Exactly, if Cotto could pot shot Shane, what makes him think Mayweather cant. I guess many of these posters dont realize Shane is an oftentimes wild and sloppy fighter who leaves himself open to counters all day long. Shane has a lot more to worry about than Mayweather on May 1.

No one wants to end up like the Great Ali or with a detached retina like Leonard or punchy like Pernell it's about winning while maintaining your good health and being very successful. Unfortunately even Shane looks punchy right now.

Ali fought the best and gave us classic fights. there's no comparision at all.

styles make fights. you could make a great case mosley beat cotto, i had him beating cotto and im far from the only one. triangles theories never work.

and even if cotto convincingly beat shane and had the exact same style as mayweather, u can still never count mosley out. shanes resume speaks for itself, some of u ppl seem like u started watching boxing a few years ago and never bothered checking out what happening before u tuned into the sport.

never ever sleep on shane mosley, or u will end up sleeping at the hands of shane mosley.
