The exact same as I rated him before the Winky fight. He is obviously one of the better brawlers in boxing. Styles make fights, and Winky was the wrong fight for him. He simply has trouble with a good jab, like Jack's thread describes. This fight had the makings of what it was, from day 1 of its announcement. Wright is far too technically sound for him to beat: Much like DLH was when he was robbed, and Nard was as well. All 3 very good boxers who used the jab to discourage and distance themselves from him.

If people were talking Taylor.....LOL forget it. He would punish Trinidad with his Jab and Right hand. And like we have discussed.....Mayo's loss blinded alot of people as to Titos ring ability. They made the critical error of comparing Mayo(1 dimmensional) to a multidimmensional fighter like Wright.

I thought the same thing before the fight, people were saying Trinidad was going to knock Winky out and I was thinking yeah if he can hit him.

This fight was academic Wright by UD(I called it by the way)My second right prediction.

We know nothing more than we did before or after he fought Mayorga. We all knew Tito couldnt fight well against boxers. I still view him as the best puerto rican fighter out there and he is still an all time great and still one of the top fighters today. He just cant deal with a boxer, although the sport is boxing. Defensive fighters are not tito's bag of chips.

Last night didnt show me anything that I already didnt know.

Cotto did NOT demolish Corley, I had Corley ahead and it was a premature rigged stoppage.

Smacking around former 130-135 pounders do not make you the best.

He doesn't blocks jabs though!!I mean I liked Tito before this fight but I can't watch a fighter who has defense like that. He lost me as fan, I like boxers who have the complete package of skills. Don't get me wrong Tito is still an all time great I guess I never relized exactly how one dimensional he really is. Like I said can't watch fighter with no defense. I must admit after the Mayorga fight I did think Trinidad was back.
