Hes the biggest NAME in boxing right now, but not the biggest draw..

He has made some excellent choices to fight fighters who have strong fanbases which is why his fights sell well.. Its WHO he is fighting.. NOT himself..

I hate to beat a dead horse, but look at the baldomir fight.. How much did that sell? werent people leaving the stadium in the middle of the fight?

DLH, Hatton, JMM.. all had strong fan bases..

The upcoming Pac fight should be compared to the baldomir fight.. both unknown fighters

That is a FAIR comparison.. This thread was not intended to flame either

So when he fights a known name then he's cherrypicking them base on those fighters fanbase? And when he fight the Baldomir who basically have no fan he's still cherrypicking?? So which one is it?

I'm going to assume that you just aren't that bright. It's okay.

Like others have already stated, Floyd wasn't even 1/4th star he is today when he fought Carlos Baldomir.

When it does, it will ONLY be because Mosley had the bigger fan base. They never give the dude credit, it doesn't surprise me. According to NSB logic, he only does numbers because of his opponents fan bases. Its funny I'm talking about this, because I stay out of the majority of the PPV number arguments on here.

that's ******. biggest payday is biggest payday. Cotto had the bigger split of the pie against mosley and margarito and yet his biggest payday is against pacquiao.

convenient how you were a very literal face value kinda guy yesterday but all of a sudden you wanna look at context

                  LMAO.

Floyd-JMM outsold BOTH of Pac fights with JMM combined.
                  that's not totally fair...

                  1) floyd beat dlh and hatton before pac did

                  2) pac fought dlh and hatton in the recession

                  3) pac vs jmm was at a lower weight class
