Mayweather fought Oscar at 154 but that wasn't prime Oscar either. Theres also a difference with Marquez and Oscar fights.....Pacquiao was the one going up in weight(3 in less than a year) while Marquez was the one going up in weight to fight Mayweather. Heck when they said Pacquiao was fighting Oscar almost no one said he was gonna beat Oscar....even I didn't think he was gonna beat Oscar lol.

Why give credit? Oscar already old and long way past his prime but almost beat Mayweather. I will give Mayweather all the credits in the world if he only fought any belt holder at 154 in that time but Oscar? At least Pac by having just 1 fight at 135 have the balls to move up another 2 weight divisions to fight Oscar at 147. Forcing a natural JM to move down in weight while the smaller man moves up is the jist of catchweights. It matters less that they met at welter, to force Oscar to 147 was the catch. Accept truth.
