Oscar tried to cherry pick the smaller Pacquiao cos he didnt wanna fight Margarito. Stop revising history.

3 divisions apart, 4 if you don't count Pac's ONE fight at 135.

Pac goes up ANOTHER 2 divisions, Oscar comes down 3 lbs from his last fight 6 months prior.

Oscar was a big favorite in that fight and most people thought Pac would get squashed.

        /nuff said.

David Diaz fought several times at 140 (light welterweight) up to 147 (welterweight) while Pac fights between 106-130(super featherweight). Then they fought for the WBC 135 (lightweight) title. In your ****** reasoning, this is also a catchweight. This may not be the good example but I hope you realize your mistake about your ****** idea.

Damn right that was a catchweight fight.

Don't let the *******s tell you any different.

This is true. But it doesn't change the fact that it was a catchweight fight.

              Floyd fought Oscar at 54.

Packy didn't. So in this one instance: Floyd>>>Packy.

So Pac having 1 fight at 135 should fought Oscar at 154 right?

he didnt fought there for 7 years before facing pac, doesnt matter if catchweight or not, the dlh who fought pac was not this anymore :

mosley was the one who beat a prime dlh at 147, not pac.

So how is Pac suppose to fight Oscar at 147 when oscar himself wanted to fight at 147??? I seem to remember oscar going on and on about him wanting to fight Mayweather at 147 in the rematch, Then he fought forbes at 150 just to get prepared for Mayweather, When the fight fell through he said he would fight the Margarito/Cotto winner but after seeing what Rito did to cotto he switch his attention to Pac who was at 135 at the time.

I forgot, Packy needs every single possible advantage before every fight.

Roach even admitted that they took Oscar because he KNEW FOR A FACT that Oscar had nothing left and couldn't pull the trigger.

                      Roach's own words.

And on top of it all, they did it at 47'.
