the way i remember afterwards it wasnt broken but it could have been injured. but margo did have an ankle and wrist injury in that fight but persevered ... hes done it in 2 of his fights now, i dunno if its a mental or conditioning issue with him. or both, i expect the same thing to happen in his fight with pac in or around the 6-7 rd

all that being said i still expect it to go the distance ... clottey is good defensively tuff durable and has a good chin ...

        It's true.

Clottey is too one dimensional for Pacquiao. He's very good at that dimension, but not enough to beat Manny.

Clottey's going to do the same thing he always does, which is move forward with his hands up in a protective shell. And block until he's close enough to punch.

Roach has to have a great gameplan set for Pac to implement. Clottey's a very tough fighter to face if you just head in there with no actual gameplan. Clottey thinks it's gonna be a you punch, I punch like he did with Cotto and it's gonna be far from it. Pacquiao is gonna show what an elite fighter with a great gameplan does to a fighter like Clottey.

          Clottey won't do that.

And Clottey is tougher and has a much better chin than Cotto.

I'll bet you 100k that this fight goes to the cards.
It's not overrating it, it's analyzing styles.

Cotto's problem was he couldn't penetrate Clottey's guard to save his life cause all of a sudden he can't throw a straight right hand.

That's Pacquiao's strength. His straights will go right throw Clottey's gloves and right through his elbows. Clottey aint used to getting hit cleanly that often, but Pac throws the kind of punches that can penetrate Clottey's guard, and he throws a ton of them.

          Clottey will be EXHAUSTED.

Clottey will never be able to get off. I can't really see this fight being that close.
I am pretty sure Clottey is not that easy to straight whoop on. I fully expect him to lose but if Manny think he will just be able to come in and do like he has done recently could lead to problems for him.

Manny is the mentally stronger guy though so eventually that should pay off for Manny in the final third of the fight.

Cotto broke through Clottey's guard plenty of times. He had him pinned against the ropes and teed off on him multiple times during the fight.

Clottey just laughed it off. Your analysis is flawed. Cotto could've finished that fight if his corner didn't stop it. Packy is not as strong, or good as you make him out to be.

              Bet with me.

No he didn't. I was there and I'm a Cotto fan. Cotto's most clean shots came in exchanges. When Clottey was in his guard Cotto would land like 2 punches for every 7 he threw. And most of the ones he landed weren't big shots because they were straight punches that he isn't comfortable throwing.

And I don't think Pac is that great. I think it's just a bad style match up for Clottey. Watch Pac throw straight lefts to the body all night while darting in and out from all angles. Clottey is going to have nothing left.

I'm not gonna bet with you cause I don't even have 100k. And I don't feel like betting everything I have on one fight.

im not one of those that thinks this will be an easy fight for PAC

Clottey brings a solid beard, good punching power, size and sees the opportunity to catapult his marketabilty

i believe this fight will start off tactical and we'll see a lot of body work from PAC to start off with...the high guard that Clottey employs will invite that body work...however, with PAC's tendency to get hit, Clottey will have his moments...more than a few IMO

as with the Cotto fight, there will be some wicked spots where both men get to tee off

in the end, it comes down to stamina and volume to which the edge goes to PAC

late stoppage or UD in a great, fan pleasing fight

Fine, bet what you want. But I saw that fight on live HBO on my big ass tv and Cotto broke through plenty of times and Clottey thought nothing of it.

As evidenced by the famous gif of him shaking his head and smiling at Cotto after he threw his barrage.

Jack i agree Pac is not as good as people make him out to be but I think the thing you are missing is Clotteys mental game.

He is a mental midget. He faked an injury vs. Margarito. He head butts when **** gets thick. Healso stops throwing punches when he realizes hes lost.
