People need to get their heads out of Mayweathers clouds !!

      He is a con.

He has conned YOU !!! LOL

He hasn't fought an elite welterweight in prime .

SSM maynot be prime but will be more than PBF wants. Matter of fact all he wants is YORE MONEY !!

SSM will KO YoreMoney or YoreMoneyweather will QUIT on his stool after a terrible beating just like his Uncle Roger QUIT on his with his ugly head hanging down.

      Both are fast.

ONE punches like a sissy= Pbf

ONE punches with Power in either hand,,,KO POWER

      both are smart

      both have stamina.

SSM will get to his body, he will get on his head,, when he gets to the body,,, Fragile Pbf of mind and body will breakdown and screams of crys from his cult following will happen,,,ear plugs please !! Blood will fly,,, Pbfs nose will bleed , his Ribs will truly hurt for the first time ,,pun intended. His movement will start to falter in rounds seven and 8,,, because he was Knocked down earlier he will struggle now and SSM will pick it up ,,, the shoulder Roll will roll off and PBF will be in the trenches !!

What will he do in the trenches:

      1. He will get KO'd

      2. HE WILL QUIT.

      3. IF he QUITS he will go in hiding

The best fight is SSM vs de Pacmang

As for getting the praise? I don't see it, he is hated in Britain unfairly so.
In your picture of Pac and Shane,,,I see two of the greatest sportsmen today,,,,may both win their fights with KO's although Mayweather may QUIT late in the fight,, and may both face each other in the fall and take the 40 mil each.

Shay, that was a good read, homie. You are easily one of the best writers around and I like seeing the game from the view of a boxer and not just some crummy old writer all of the time. Also, thanks for coming on the radio show. That was big and you didnt pull punches. Anyone who does that gets mad respect from me. One

Maybe you should learn your facts before you start talking, getting hit is not one of my specialty's. Do you box? I have had a good career thus far, have fought on television a number of time and was on the first season of the contender, I have been pretty damn blessed in my book, so I have no complaints.
Damn right you've been blessed! Congratulations on your career and all your achievements. You've done what most of us can only dream about. Looking forward to what ever you do next in your career. Hopefully it will be more writing on boxing scene. I found it very interesting to see a fighters prospective of the current state of boxing. Thanks Ishe! And good luck.

your doing the right thing ishe smith being somebody sparring partner.......

you and i had words cause i said your skills is garbage. your best two jobs are writing columns(what happened on **********) and being somebody sparring partners. also, there's a difference in being a defensive fighter and scared to throw a f**king punch in a boxing match!! don't you think it's kind of cheap to solicit for a job in an article just because you got the audacity to name your SUgarShay and you want to fight a third generation Sugar..lol

Whether Khan deserves all the attention he gets is debatable. However, he is hugely popular in the United Kingdom, and regularly sells out large indoor arenas. If he wasn't a big name and boxing commodity, he wouldn't be fighting on HBO. There is obviously going to be a lot of interest for him, because of his kill or be killed attitude. He has weaknesses, yes, but that is what makes him so exciting. He is one of the quickest boxers in the game, has excellent boxing skills, but is also vulnerable to the jaw. What's not to like? It all makes for exciting matchups, because while he is undoubtedly one of the most talented stars in the sport, if he gets hit he can lose a fight in a second.

Maybe Ishe, if you went to the olympics at seventeen, won a gold medal, and then went on to become a world champion, you wouldn't be a lightly regarded reality t.v figure who felt so unloved and unwanted by the company that welcomed Khan into its open arms.

"Hugely popular" is hyperbole to be fair; he's a household name but ever since ITV stopped plugging him and the Olympics faded over the years, he's kinda dropped out of the limelight ..

Sky hype him for obvious reasons but his stock, in terms of the general public, has actually fallen over recent times.

And correct me if i'm wrong but didn't his last couple of fights, especially the Kotelnik one, bomb? in terms of both PPV and seats.

Thanks DLT I had a blast on the show! I like debating, but hate when people are ignorant, but realize most are people wishing they could box and be in someone else's shoes
