lol yea thats y in 06-07 he said cotto wasnt a big enough attraction but he was b4that in 04-05?? This is a quote from floyd himself “Cotto needs a couple more tune-ups. Right now he’s a little too green,” Mayweather said. http://www.thesweetscience.com/boxin...yu-hoya-cotto/

in 05 then in 07 the whole interview with brian kenny where he says cotto lives 2 far when did he offer a fight 2 cotto and arum refused? Post a link

Come on man are you serious? Anyone who's kept up with Cotto, knows that man will take on anyone. I can't ever remeber when Cotto was asked about fighting Mayweather where he said he wouldn't fight Jr... As I remember he use to say he'd fight anyone that his promoter put in front of him. He never made no excuses or flat out said he would not fight Floyd... On the other hand I can't say the same for Mayweather; as he did come out and make excuses of why he wouldn't fight Miguel Cotto. If I wanted i could easly youtube the video where Jr. said it in his own words, but I ant got the time to go and look for old footage.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but Floyd will nearly kill Mosley in the ring. Cotto was too fast and too good for Mosley 3 years ago, Floyd will be much greater.

In all honesty, its better for Mosley to get beaten to a pulp by Floyd because he was on his way to getting destroyed by Berto.

lol since when has Mayweather beaten anyone to a pulp let alone one og the toughest strongest fighters in the WW division. If anyone was supposed to beat Mosley to a pulp it was supposed to be Margarito but that ddint quite happen did it.

Mosley can win against Mayweather and its not a long shot either.

I dont think Cotto is anywhere near shot. The man just fought the best and lost to the best. Margarito and Pacquiao are still also suspect on possible cheats to beat him.

LOL cmon bro, if there is one simple and evident truth about mayweather is that he picks and chooses his fights to his benefit. Cotto has never backed down from a challenge. Cotto was never a good option for Floyd thats why Leonard Ellerbe and Richard Schaeffer didnt put Floyd in the ring with Cotto

not in a millions years cotto wins, he never had a chance, even in his prime, he'd be lucky to win a round.

cotto/floyd is acceptable... as long as floyd doesn't fight another boxer that coming up from below 147 lbs.
