If someone says something ****** then I've no problem commenting on it, whether they're a random guy in the street, Larry Holmes or anyone else. What matters is what an individual is saying, not who they are.

And yes, Floyd does risk getting killed in the ring, as does Pacquiao and every other boxer.

Why? Is Floyd afraid of getting killed in the ring by Pacquiao?

I've no idea as I'm not a mind reader.

hmm..so you know more than holmes huh? and his comments are ****** and yours are not?

with all the bragging and thrash talks and personal insults from floyd, and his getting $25M for fighting a smaller guy...i wonder why all his demands for different kind of testing. i'm still frustrated this fight did not happen. hoping it will by end-year 2010.

I've no idea if Larry Holmes knows more about drug testing than I do. But yeah, I think his comments are ******. Sorting out the drug tests after the fight has already taken place makes no sense and would be of no use.

Indeed, hopefully they sort something out and we all get to see the fight.

You have no idea? And you're implying in your post that a boxer should not RISK his life in the ring! WTF! A boxer should be a a boxer and should be man enough to fight in the ring with anyone! That's what Cotto did! That's what Hatton and Dela Hoya did! And that's what Clottey is doing! Being man enough to fight!

What I'm saying [and Holmes (I believe) is saying]: Whether or not there is PED, fight fans should not be deprived of that fight! Unless Floyd is just afraid to get in the ring with Pacquiao; unless he doesn't believe in his own skills and talent that he can defeat Pacquiao! BECAUSE I BELIEVE FLOYD CAN DEFEAT PACQUIAO WITH HIS ABILITIES regardless of whether Pacquiao is taking PEDs or not!n The Problem is Floyd is afraid, that is the reason why!

i agree with holmes too I never understand why floyd wouldn't just take the fight, even if he pac is on roids I would imagine floyd would still think he can beat him. Roids don't make you invincible and roided out or not I would always have floyd favored to beat pac just based on style & skill alone.
