But true, PBF should fight Pac first then talk roids after. Afterall he said he could beat Pac no problem.
I could understand the "foreigner" thing. Pac is after all a non-US citizen. Of course, he'll be rooting for Floyd. Nothing wrong with that. Boxing is like a puzzle to many fans. It's extremely entertaining to see how fighters with different styles would go at it. Speculating is fun. I can't wait to see this huge boxing event happen.

I've full respect for Larry Holmes but these comments are ******. If you believe that someone is using drugs to help them beat you in a fight, you would have to be an idiot to just 'worry about it later'.

What is he suggesting? That a boxer should risk his life against someone he thinks is cheating, and then try to get him to be drug tested after it's too late to matter?

He started asking for Pacquiao to be tested because he thought he was on PED's, why is that so hard for you to understand? and now you're critisizing Mayweather for wanting to clean up the sport all together?

"I watch some of the little guys. If Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao is fighting, I'll watch them, but not the heavyweights. These Klitschko brothers and stuff I'll turn them on for a second, but I can't watch it. They weren't doing anything but dancing around and looking at each other. It wasn't interesting, so I didn't watch it. I wish I could see Mayweather and Pacquiao fight, but what they're doing right now is hurting boxing because people want to see the fight and there's a lot of money involved in the fight. They're trying to bring up stuff that is taking away from the fight with drug tests and accusations. When you get into personal insults like that, it puts a damper on the fight. I don't get it. They're both going to make at least $25 million. I would worry about it after the fight. If I'm making $25 million and he's taking dog food to make him stronger, so what? Let's go ahead and do it and talk about it later after we get our money. First, get the money. These guys don't get that."

"I had hoped Mayweather was going to do it, but he can't because a lot of people are turned off by his attitude. We need a heavyweight, not a foreigner; we need a great American heavyweight fighter to bring boxing back. We don't have that now and don't know if we'll ever get it again."
This is what I've been saying all along!

Mayweather is a very good fighter! He has all the skills and talent to beat Pacquiao! Whether Pacquiao is on PEDs or not, it's a big, big possibility that he can defeat Pacquiao! But why can't he fight Pacquiao who has agreed to a 24-day limit of Olympic style of drug test???

Floyd is just afraid to fight Pacquiao!!!

here's the real insight from a real boxer. a very respected veteran fighter at that. real deal.

not an insight from a boxing writer or fan.

              sad but true.

whoa...ur talking that it's like floyd getting "killed" in the ring. if he says he would "whoop his ass" and he will fight this "one-dimensional" fighter for at least $25M, why demand testing at all...holmes is saying his thoughts, who are you to question or let alone say its ******?

Yeah, because Floyd HAS NO OTHER CHOICE! FANS AND BOXING WRITERS WERE ALL OVER HIM, BLAMING HIM FOR THE FIASCO. Pacquiao moved on, because he was not beholden by money! Pacquiao just wants to fight Mayweather but not in Mayweather's terms that could give Floyd a mental advantage in the fight!

Just look at Floyd's history of ducking top welterweight fighters! He should have fought Mosley years ago! He must have thought, "wtf, Mosley is 38yo now, so why not?"

To be fair, you've pretty much had the U.S. and western Europe fighting each other for a century. There is worldwide competition today, something to remember when trying to glorify prior eras.
