Richardson is one of the few people in the sport who I believe can come up with a gameplan to beat Mayweather.

shane probably has the longest reach of anyone mayweathers fought, and that will be pivotal in making this floyds hardest fight to date when you consider how shane utilizes that reach. shane is the closest anyones come to matching mayweather in the center of the ring, and i think mosley has a pretty good advantage if he gets floyd on the ropes. floyd may roll off a couple of the punches, but shane doesn't need to land too many to hurt anyone. imo shanes jab will trouble mayweather more than mayweathers jab will trouble shane. shanes obviously gonna be the easier man to hit, but he'll probably laugh at mayweathers punches.

A good jab is the way to offset floyd..see the de la hoya fight,everytime he uses his jab he catches floyd but unfortunately he stopped using it..even roger said that a very good jab is the way to beat floyd.

Mosley don`t have a good jab and if he did it still would not do much cause Floyd would just counter over that Jab.Floyd started to adapt to Oscar`s jab and started to counter him.

nope watch the fight and hear what manny steward says...oscar stopped throwing the jab.and even Oscar later on admitted that he stopped throwing the jab and when he was throwing it was easy to find floyd..

so by ur boxing analysis, are u telling that u r smarter than someone who has trained world champions,and someone who has won world titles in different weight classes including an olympic gold medal??

lol, Shane's a well preserved 38? Wasn't there discussions in the past on NSB about Shane already slurring his words during interviews? W/e, I'm rooting for Shane, but a lot of people are overrating his speed vs Margarito and how well he looked against Margarito. Cotto was making Margarito look like a clown until he gased out and the bricks took their effect. Not hard to look great against Margarito...but I expect Shane to be mentally very strong in the fight.

That's just flat out ******. Can you give me a list of fighters other than Mosley that looked great against Margaritio? And Cotto was getting a slow beat down. He wasn't doing anything close to what Mosley did aginst Margarito.

Come on El. There is a difference between backing your guy and just all out hate. There is no way you can knock a Mosley fight and you definitely cant knock Floyd for it, if you wouldnt knock Pac for it and you know you wouldnt. Well it not about jab it how you jab and when you jab. Same with the body.

The problem with people is they see on part of the solution but not as whole.

Speed, jab, power, aggresivnes....etc are all tools. Using these tools is another thing.

People could win a fight with a jab.

I think to beat Mayweather is to be very random and not let him adapt and be comfortable with you style.

What you forget is every move anyone makes Floyd will counter and beat you at your own game.There are people who used to think Floyd could not fight in a matchbox and they got whooped.Shane is just praying that he will catch Floyd clean somewhow to hurt him so he can slow him down.Chances are he will be like Baldomir or Marquez in that fight.I personally dont think this fight will be close,it will be a one sided exhibition of boxing skills.

I respect Shane,he's a great fighter against guys who aggressively come to him.He was easily out boxed by Cotto and I cant see how he will outbox Mayweather.

Roach does respect Floyd,he has even said people should forget all the bull **** 'Floyd is the best at what he does'.Roach doesnt even have a game plan to beat Floyd,at one time he said he needed a long time to study tapes.

Shane is in this for the money.If he thinks him beating Margarito has any bearing on fighting Mayweather he's in for a shock.Margarito blocks shots with his face,Mayweather is never there to be hit.
