absolutely agree. i'm a big fan of hagler-hearns type of fight.

i will be bored to death if this happens, complete waste of ppv money:

"I think we'll see a good fight with Mayweather frustrating Shane to a competitive UD..."

lol, Shane's a well preserved 38? Wasn't there discussions in the past on NSB about Shane already slurring his words during interviews? W/e, I'm rooting for Shane, but a lot of people are overrating his speed vs Margarito and how well he looked against Margarito. Cotto was making Margarito look like a clown until he gased out and the bricks took their effect. Not hard to look great against Margarito...but I expect Shane to be mentally very strong in the fight.

How can you question what he is about if he is willing to do whatever it takes to win? He has fought with hurt hands and a hurt shoulder. So I don't really get what you mean by "seeing what he is really about".

Me as a fan of boxing and PBF as well as many others. I love the skills, technicality and thinking aspects of boxing more than brawling. To me it doesn't say much about 2 fighter who have limited skills who just beat the hell out of each other until 1 falls. Brawling has its entertainment value to a certain extent but I would rather watch to skilled and thinking fighters before I watch to brawlers.

As a boxing fan, I enjoy whatever happens in the squared circle. Whether it's Tyson coming straight at you looking to take you out in 15 seconds with one right hook or whether it's Floyd counter punching, making his opponents trip over their own feet, and slowly sucking their life out of them with his boxing.

Floyd stood in front of his opponents at 130, 135, and 140. He went to war with Augustus, Chavez, and Corley. He wiped the floor with Hernandez and Corrales. He had a close quarter fight with Castillo. At 147, Floyd's utilized a lot more movement. It's interesting watching a fighter evolve through weight classes. You don't move up 5 weight divisions by being ordinary.

By the way, if you want to see that killer instinct at 147, watch the Hatton fight.

i only really paid attention to ****m, not punk ass vivan harris who hates floyd personally, and doug seemed like he knew what he was talking about, but really ****m knew what he was saying----he knows this is the hardest fighter that he will be involved with mentally out of hopkins and shane---because floyd is mentally a complete fighter---no matter how you look at it, his thinking in that ring is unmatched----only maybe hopkins and toney can compare with his mindset---so ****m knows this and he has to come up with a great gameplan for shane--but the thing is, floyd always does something different in each of his fights, that throws his opponents totally off--even if he potshots and moves a lot, he does something with his movement that just makes his opponent have to rethink their gameplan---shane will lose this fight, because shane fights stiff and he closes his eyes too much, which is his worst habbit, and floyd sees just about everything, ****m is the right trainer for shane, but floyd is the best of the best in that ring, and shane will lose, i don't how, whether by ud, wipeoout ud, or maybe floyd catchhes him with something he doesn't expect him to throw, floyd has done this, you just don't know what him, but shane will not outhtink floyd, period----floyd is a thinking man's fighter---you'll see folks---i expect a shutout on floyd's part, with shane fighting hard as hell, but floyd will up his game and dominate shane---just wait----i'm telling you all with this bold statement--this fight will be a wipeout and floyd will win in dominant fashion----

I hope it's a good fight, hopefully it won't be one-sided like the JMM fight but Mosley won't go down without a fight. I'm really looking forward to this. I see Mayweather winning a UD (116-112). I don't think Shane can successfully "Swim without getting wet" against Floyd Mayweather.
