Why I agree with Nacho Beristain regarding JM Marquez vs Khan.

Marquez is just way too slow above 135. If Khan puts pressure on him like Diaz did, Marquez would get hit with that left hook all night long.
I'll give Marquez a punchers chance since he is a genius in the ring, but I see Khan knocking him out at 140 lbs. Now, if they fought at a lower weight, that would be a different story.Comment

First off, thanks!
I understand the thought process of Roach. His number one concern is Khan's chin. He saw the blueprint that Mayweather used and thinks Khan has the tools to copy and execute it. Pacquiao is a better fighter than Khan, but doesn't have the tools (mainly the reach) to copy the FMJ blueprint, which is why he must come forward to do damage. (and in the process gets picked apart with precision counter-punching)
Khan is simply at the right place at the right time. Marquez is not the same fighter after his loss to Mayweather, once he realizes that Khan is going to just potshot and run he will mentally shutdown in the same way that Cotto shutdown with Clottey and Pacquiao after seeing the ghost of Margarito.
JMM should fight Valero and go out like a warrior win or lose, or just wish for that rematch with Pacquiao. He shouldn't be used as the stepping stone for Khan in a jab exhibition. Roach should be ashamed of himself by now.Comment

Watch Chris John vs Marquez. It has nothing to do with weight why Pacquiao got out-boxed and why John and Mayweather beat Marquez.Marquez is just way too slow above 135. If Khan puts pressure on him like Diaz did, Marquez would get hit with that left hook all night long.
