Co-sign. Unfortuntaley, the casual boxing fan likes to see fighting, not boxing. They can't see all the things Floyd brings to a fight. They love action. Its a big reason why Pac can sell just as many PPVs without saying a word. Floyd uses his salesmanship and the drama he causes outside the ring to get viewers. The Mosley/May fight is gonna sell alot because of the drama between these two and because they wanna see Floyd lose. If this fight ends up being a boxing clinic for Floyd, best believe there will be a lot of disappointed "casual" boxing fans.

Floyd been fighting for over a decade. People know what to expect with him.

They said this crap about Baldimir.

Then he sold over 1 Million with Oscar, Hatton and JMM.

            A. Floyd lose

I guess the only Floyd fight you ever saw was against Marquez and Baldomir. Floyd has mixed performances, they go from very exciting, to good, to moderate, to lukewarm. It all depends on the opponent and how much they risk to get to him. The guy puts in flawless performances and thats what fans admire about him. The sweet science will always draw fans and supporters, and no matter how caveman you think the boxing world is, the sweet science reigns supreme.

Just like how Floyd fans descredit pacquaio and act like Floyd is the only high selling boxer right now even though Pacquaio and Him have the same sales both sold millions.
I like his defense and his skills....but having all the advantage against Marquez he was still scared to let his hands go and knocked the ****er out made me know that floyd is not their to give us a show and knock a fighter out but just to win safe. He don't care about giving us a show...he is there to fight smart and win the fightl. And him to come in ring to fight and to fight smart in 12 rounds is why he is great and one of the best fighter of our era. But his style is not the exciting to watch now days.

Really all the great exciting floyd fought was when he was force to let his hands go and that only happens if fighter dont completely throw his whole game plan away and gets lost and frustrated.

Floyd took 21 months off. He needed those live action rounds.
